Event Description
Indonesia is accelerating its transition toward a green economy as part of its commitment to sustainable development and achieving its Net Zero Emission target. In this transition, Green Jobs play a vital role in developing a skilled, adaptive, and future-ready workforce capable of supporting low-carbon economic growth.
As part of this effort, the Indonesia's Green Jobs Conference (IGJC) 2026, organized by the Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas) in collaboration with GIZ, serves as a collaborative platform that brings together government, industry, academia, development partners, communities, and youth. The conference showcases best practices, innovation, green skills development, and employment opportunities to strengthen cross-sector collaboration, accelerate the implementation of Green Jobs, and support Indonesia's inclusive and sustainable green economic transformation.
